External Calls:-
Press 9 for an outside line, dial your number and then press #
NOTE: If you do not press hash the phone system will wait for a short amount of time before it dials your number.
Internal Calls:-
Dial extension followed by #.
Answering Phone:-
Pick up phone and answer :)
Answering someone elses phone FROM your own phone:-
Dial *8#
NOTE: The office is split into groups, only phones in these groups can answer calls coming into these groups. The 2 groups are the Technical Dept and Accounts/Sales/SEO.
To transfer direct to destination phone:-
# then dial extension, then put your phone down.
NOTE: This will send call direct to other phone, unless it is busy and then it will go to voicemail.
To talk to person then transfer call:-
Dial *2 then extension, talk to person and put phone down.
NOTE: The person dialing in will be placed on hold while you talk to other person. When the phone is put down the line will bleep for person dialing in and person taking call, then both will be able to speak to each other. If someone does not want to take the incoming call they just need to put the phone down, line will bleep and original call taker will be back on the line to incoming call.
If the line you are transferring to is busy it will go to voicemail, just press * to get the original call back.
To park a call:-
If you cannot find person to transfer to:-
Dial #700, the phone system will give you a number (usually 701 or 702), the call can now be picked up from anywhere by dialing extension 701 (or whatever the system gave you).
Transfer to voicemail:-
To transfer a call DIRECT to voicemail just dial #8 then the extension.
Pickup Voice Messages:-
Press the Messages button on your phone, it will ask you for your extension.
Dial your extension then #.
It will now ask you for a password, the default is 1234, unless you have changed it.
dial 1234#
You will now be given a list of options:-
1 for new/old messages
2 change folders
3 advance options
0 mailbox options
* help
# exit
Currently this feature is not in use.

2 record your busy message
3 record your name
4 record your temporary greeting
5 change password
